KIDBOX STOVE CRAFT – A Fun Way to Reuse Your KIDBOX

A few weeks ago, I took Grace (4 years old) & Madelyn (2 years old) shopping for new clothes. I waited as long as I could because I knew it was probably not going to be easy but I couldn’t continue to squeeze my kids into clothes that were to small anymore. So, we ended up at Old Navy.

I’m just gonna say it….I WAS RIGHT! It was a total disaster!  There was running, crying, grabbing random clothes off the racks, lots of dirty looks and that was just me! We got out alive but with only like 1 or 2 things per kid. I can remember telling myself in the car on the way home “I NEVER WANT TO DO THAT AGAIN”!

A few days after our traumatic shopping trip a miracle happened.  I was scrolling through my social media and saw a post for KIDBOX.  It’s a kids clothing subscription box that delivers the clothes right to your door! I totally had to try it!

It was so easy to do.  It literally took me a minute to sign up, pick my girls style and add my shipping information. DONE and when the boxes showed up at my door I could hear the angels singing!

When we opened the boxes, my girls were so excited!  The boxes came with a TON of hand-picked super cute clothes.  The clothes also fit great and are really high-quality.

After the excitement wore off and I knew I had found gold with this company I thought…….I could also totally make something out of this box for the girls to play with. YAY!

So, I decided to make a KIDBOX stove!  Grace has been asking me like every day if she can bring her play kitchen outside to cook while we have a picnic.  I thought this actual KIDBOX is the perfect opportunity for me to make something she can bring outside to play what she likes to call picnic kitchen.  It was easy to make and Grace has taken it outside everyday since I made it.

I know you’re excited to make this fun and cute craft! So, let’s get started……………………….

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 KIDBOX

A bunch of felt

A hot glue gun

Hot glue sticks

A pair of scissors

Play pots and food

How to make the KIDBOX stove:

The first thing I did was hot glue a piece of felt to the top of the KIDBOX.  Then I took a bunch of cups and bowls from my kitchen and started to use them to trace circles on the felt.  I used a cup to make 4 knobs and a bowl to make 4 stove burners.  Once I had the first circles I then added more felt circle to make it look more realistic.  I just started to hot glue the circles onto the top of the KIDBOX until I thought it looked like a stove.  Then I put a bunch of play pots and food inside the KIDBOX.  That’s it!

We took the KIDBOX stove outside and Grace played for hours!  At one point we had to move to the back patio because it started to rain and she didn’t want to stop playing (hahaha).

I can’t tell you how excited I am that I found KIDBOX!  For me and my family it’s a total game changer.

Another really AWESOME thing they do is for every KIDBOX sold they donate to a child in need. As a mom and former teacher that makes me very happy.

Seriously, you guys have to check them out and this is the perfect time to sign up! Just in time for back to school. Who wants to go back to school clothes shopping? NOT ME…..so just let KIDBOX do it for you!
