Let the FUN start:
The first thing I did was go over the numbers on the nests with Grace. I then told her that each nest belonged to a mommy bird. The mommy birds have lost their eggs and needed her help to get them back. I told her she had to use the tongs, because baby bird eggs are very delicate, and carefully put them back into the mommy birds nest. On the nest was the number of eggs each mommy bird had. She was so excited to help the mommy birds. It was the cutest thing EVER!
Grace did an amazing job with this Spring Egg Counting Activity and had so much fun. It’s a great way to teach number recognition, counting and fine motor skills at home or in the classroom. I hope your little one enjoys helping the mommy birds find their eggs too.
